Nature is the great inspiration of the moment

We all have the feeling

We are sensitive and intuitive beings. We absorb and process everything that surrounds us so intensely, albeit unconsciously, that this is directly reflected in our state of mind, degree of happiness, feelings of peace and well-being and even in our physical and mental health. The sounds, the aromas, the colors, the temperature, the harmony or lack thereof, the spatial arrangement or its chaotic presentation, the different temperatures, shades and intensity of light, the quality of the air… Everything is registered and it flows in sensations that make us want to step inside and stay, or that make our stay a suffocation from which we want to escape.

More alert to this fact, the generation Millennial understands and handles interior decoration as a means to achieve states of mind that promote inner peace. Consciously using it as a tool to achieve a… happy end. A reality that some of us only woke up to with the pandemic, which forced us into prolonged closures in the place where we used to spend very little time: at home. When the house stopped being a mere dormitory, to which we returned at the end of the day, we realized the importance of the home in our general well-being. Its functionality, as well as the aesthetics of the intimate spaces we frequent were questioned, rethought and improved with the clear intention of making the days more pleasant, the different rooms more comfortable and more capable of generating pleasant sensations, at any time of the day in any task. We are transforming our homes into the 'nests' they should always have been

Emotional design

Emotional design, the one that provides us with harmony and inner peace, that flows in every centimeter and purpose for an adequate spatial ordering, for the manufacture of the most adequate energy, to facilitate our lives and still arouse spiritual balance and even smiles, depends of a multitude of factors. Overlapped layers of a chain of elements. Creating this visual and affective fabric inside a home, as described by decorators around the world, and as the history of interior design tells, from Ancient Rome to Wabi-Sabi, requires only taking Nature as inspiration and let us be guided by its wisdom and aesthetics. Following its dominant palette of neutral tones, opting for ergonomic and fluid shapes, betting on the expressiveness of textures and roughness, betting on the quality and durability of materials and basing camps on the primacy of noble raw materials. Wood, stone, metals and plant fibers come to mind in this search for comfort, warmth and a sense of belonging to the only place that is always ready to welcome and embrace us: our home.

Turn on the lights!

Being able to bring the outside into the interior, reinforcing this bridge with the natural element in the place where we now spend most of our time, opens a window to the outside world, and is one of the most recurring and insistent requests from new interior design clients and the new desire of the usual customers.

Another key point is lighting and its ability to sweeten or energize environments. To give them an identity and determine vocations. Above all, it is the recognition of the ability that light has to interact with our mood and to shape feelings of well-being, channeling all the senses in a clear direction.

Bright lights, generating few shadows in desk lamps aimed at work and reading areas. Warm lights to welcome guests, golden and warm lights for leisure areas and even more seductive in spaces designed for relaxation.

However, when it comes to lighting, it's not just light intensity or color that matters, and it's not limited to its layout around the house. The lamps, vehicles of this light, are now a matter of aesthetic interest, leading figures of enormous prominence, even in daytime. We want them to be high profile decorative pieces. Irreplaceable utilities, from them we now expect them to decorate and not just emit light and manage watts of power. Light It Be is very attentive to this need, to create a creative, exclusive and original identity in all our light carriers, so that even when turned off, they still emit 'light' and character to any environment. That's why we make them timeless, resistant, decorative, adaptable to any trend, and we teach them character, delicacy and sensitivity so they can mold themselves to an endless range of atmospheres. When they leave our workshop they alreadym konw by heart our motto: to illuminate while decorating!

Lighting pieces that manage to articulate the necessary functionality to a singular aesthetic and that are still a bar in the 'natura' grammar, the one that brings us here, and that manage to articulate plant life with our urbanity, start with advantage.

We miss the world outside

For the moment, all orientations converge in the same direction: what is natural is beautiful. Therefore, Nature is pointed out as the great inspiration of the moment. Whether in the color of the walls or in the decorative objects, in the textures and contours, shapes and contexts are sought that replicate the synergies of nature, woods and forests, rivers and oceans. Strength, honesty, resistance, durability, adaptability and a beauty that results from the combination of a multitude of small and large details. Recreating this aesthetic, adapting it to the needs and preferences of each one and ordering it to be beautiful, simple, inspiring and welcoming is the great task of the moment.

It's the accepted rejection of synthetic, plastic, artificial or pompous, cold surfaces and superficial aesthetics, which do not deepen the necessary human knowledge or reflect the inhabitants, their habits and secrets, their passions and quirks.

These sensorial houses, full of life, moods, sensitivities and the capacity for various mutability, depending on the seasons, hours of the day and the moods of those who breathe, are organic puzzles, entities, also alive and healthy, where you feel like entering and even more remain. They are vibrant extensions of the human element, excerpts from their skin, with whom they share more than four whitewashed walls.

Do your part well

Because a home doesn't just depend on interior design and professional finishes, add your stamp. Make your home tell your story, reflect your tastes, tell your travels and be a constant emotional hug, full of affection and memories. If you add emotion to Nature, it will always feel good to return home, as it will be your safe place.
